After cementing itself as the most beautiful new Italian hideaway and being crowned the Best Hotel in the World, it could be resting on its laurels, but far from, and the family has unveiled a sumptuous new collection of bespoke products available to buy on a new lifestyle boutique named Sense of the Lake. 

Created in partnership with Grand Hotel Tremezzo and an ode to feeling instilled by the waters of Lake Como, the collection is the brainchild of  Valentina De Santis and her mother and is inspired by the heritage, grandeur, beauty and exclusivity of the two Como properties. The collection includes fashion, homeware, luggage, accessories and other covetable items, allowing shoppers to bring a taste of their corner of paradise into their own home – wherever they are in the world.

Split across nine shippable sections – Sesse of Acua, Memories, Wow, Grand, Wonder, Como, You Sun and Travel, the collection has been created with Italian designers such as Brics Milano, accessories label Le Nine, For Restless Sleepers Sleepers (famed for their stunning silk pyjamas, loungewear and robes), interiors house Bottega Conticelli, eyewear artisans L.G.R, unique print specialists, MANTERO 1902 and independent, Rome-based brand Chez Dede. The lineup was chosen to celebrate the best in Italian craftsmanship and tradition while highlighting the unique beauty of the De Santoss’ Como hotels. Also coming this spring is a stunning new swim and resort collection in collaboration with Emilia Wickstead.

The sublime new store offers everything to allow travellers to live like they are in an Italian summer, all year round, with everything from home candles and striped yellow tea sets to sunglasses – with a playful slick of Grand Hotel Tremezzo’s signature orange – silk scared, trainers, robes, activewear, children’s wear and limited-edition holdalls painted with a fresco of a radiant Passalaqua.

Prices start from €30 for pieces like hand cream from the range’s Aqua Como – the signature scene of Grand and Passalacqua Lake Como and a heady mix of garden florals and fresh lake breeze – to €3,000 for the hotels’ iconic coral-striped pool umbrellas – used on the brilliant green lawns of Grand Hotel Tremezzo itself and handmade to order.
