Address Dubai Mall

A shiny, ultra-modern escape in the heart of the city – connected to Dubai Mall and with Burj Khalifa views

Why book Address Dubai Mall

Address Hotels dominate the Downtown Dubai skyline, their architecturally awe-inspiring structures strung around Dubai Mall like a string of shiny peals. There’s Downtown, a serene and much-loved landmark; Sky View, with its killer rooftop pool and Boulevard, along with Arabian-inspired Palace Downtown, and Address Dubai Mall (formerly known as Address Fountain Views). The hotel sits in front of the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Fountains, offering a more cinematic, wide view of the skyline. There are three towers, one for the hotel and two residences, and the atmosphere is calmer and more understated than its sisters, the sophisticated grown-up sibling.

Address Dubai Mall location

Address Dubai Mall benefits from a prime location, connected by a covered walkway to Dubai Mall and smack bang in front of the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Fountains. From the hotel, everything is walkable, and within 5-minutes you’re inside Dubai Mall, where you can visit the fountains and thousands of shops, bars and nearby restaurants. The newly opened Time Out Market is also just a short walk away, home
to a host of pop-ups eateries from the city’s top street chefs. For international arrivals, the hotel is a 15-minute drive from Dubai Airport and just 20-minutes from the Palm Jumeirah, making it a fantastic base for travellers to explore all Dubai has to offer.

The vibe

At Address Hotels consistency reigns supreme, and all properties are bright, breezy, modern and swathed in calming neutral tones. Upon entering the lobby, guests are enveloped by a cool wave of Address Hotels’ signature musky, floral fragrance: Address properties all having their own signature scent. Inside, the hotel’s common areas are spread onto two floors, and check-in happens in a bright lobby with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the skyline, grand artwork and a glittering drop- down chandelier. Throughout the hotel there are soothing cream, pastel green and pistachio-hued furnishings, plush carpets and gleaming beige tiles, creating a bright, breezy and modern aesthetic. Pops of colour come from lots of greenery. The terrace also boasts the same stylish, minimalist vibe, peppered with lush greenery, cabanas and comfy seating for lounging.

Rooms and suites

Rooms at Address Dubai Mall are well proportioned with sprawling bathrooms, king-sized marshmallow beds and all the amenities you’d need, such as a Nespresso machine, huge flat-screen TV, safe, built-in wardrobe, dressing table, you name it. The hotel has some of the most spacious entry-level rooms in the city, with Deluxe King Rooms a generous 50 square metres, On the other end of the spectrum, the Presidential Suite is a vast 335 square metres, sleeping five adults and one child. We staved in a deluxe king room, with a large and spacious balcony looking down to the infinity pool and overlooking the spectacular Burj Khalifa and Dubai Fountains, such good views, we were able to enjoy the fountain shows from the comfort of our room. Along mirror-lined walkway separates the bathroom and bedroom, the bathroom, creating even more of a sense of space. Generously proportioned and big enough for a family, the bathroom comes with a vast walk-in shower (the size of many hotel bathrooms in itself) a separate water closet hidden behind a frosted glass door, two vanity cabinets and sinks and a huge bathtub. Rooms are well-stocked with luxury toiletries and all guests receive a white fluffy robe, slippers and plenty of fluffy towels.

Food and drink

At the heart is The Restaurant, Address’ signature main dining experience found throughout the group. The Dubai Mall iteration is, like its sister venues, modern, elegant and all-day brasserie style. There’s both indoor and outdoor seating, indoor benefiting from the same high ceilings, picture windows and chandeliers, and outside sprawled across the pool terrace. Well prepared for summer, cool streams of air conditioning blast out from wooden planters filled with greenery, subtly bringing the temperature down and keeping diners cool. Lots of scattered olive trees, greenery and twinkling lights — all overlooking the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Fountains, make for a very romantic ambience. The menu is full of international crowd-pleasers, from burgers, steaks and pizzas through to curries, sushi and traditional Arabic dishes.

Outside of The Restaurant, there’s a casual all-day café serving coffees, tea and sandwiches on the go, and the Pool Lounge, offering light bites like wraps, burgers, pizzas and salads. Afternoon tea is also served in the cool, airy café overlooking the skyline, while The Patisserie tempts guests with a wide array of delectable cakes, pastries and confectionaries. Service is on the slow side, so make sure to leave plenty of time.

Spa and facilities

Address Dubai Mall has all the amenities of its sister hotels, and guests have full access to a high-spec gym with yoga studio and personal trainers. The spa offers the group’s signature Middle Eastern-inspired treatments, along with separate thermal suites for both men and women, a Hamman suite and Beauty Lab. Parents can also make use of the Qix children’s club, available for children aged two to 12 – with all guests getting an hour’s use complimentary use.

Insider tip

Make sure to grab a seat on the terrace for dinner and breakfast, as despite the weather the hotel has air-conditioning vents installed within the greenery. The hotel also always offers a host of packages, discounts and offers, particularly for UAE resident staycations.

The verdict

Address Dubai Mall might just be the most elegant and understated of the Address offering, benefiting from one of the best views (every moment is a picture moment), beautiful, fresh interiors and luxurious and modern amenities. Its fantastic location makes it great for everyone from solo travellers to couples and families, and the air-conditioned garden terrace is pretty wondrous. The pool is also one of the best in Dubai, uncrowded and with no fights for the many sunbeds and cabanas that fringed its cool, limpid waters. Service is touch-and-go, but the views, rooms, food and general upscale vibe make up for it. A must-stay for travellers to Downtown Dubai.
