From concierges loaded with dog treats and beds to doggie day care, here are the best pet-friendly hotels in Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah and Abu Dhabi
Everyone loves a staycation, but it can be hard as pet owners to leave furry companions behind: be it finding suitable care or just pulling ourselves away. Luckily, Dubai has a handful of fabulous pet-friendly hotels to include your companion in your adventures. Here are pet-friendly hotels in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and the UAE for your next staycation.
Park Hyatt Dubai is a go-to resort for escapism in the emirate – located within the leafy Dubai Creek Resort and on the storied banks of Dubai Creek itself. Whitewashed walls, blue-capped domes and bougainvillaea create a Mediterranean-meets-Moorish vibe, which carries through the low-rise, grounds hiding swimming pools, gardens and a Myconian spa with striking blue and white tiles. This season, the hotel is opening its doors to cherished four-legged companions, welcoming pooches weighing under 12kg to enjoy its beautiful grounds and serene location. Pet-friendly stays are available for guests staying in the ground-floor Family Lagoon Beach Rooms and Suites, some offering charming little outdoor spaces for pets to potter. The hotel is also home to pet-friendly terraces like NOÉPE, Jones the Grocer, Lakeview, as well as Marina Promenade, perfect for dining or enjoying a walk. Guests can also bring their furry companions to a Dog Park in the Holiday Villas community area where the dogs can have some extra fun and play.

Few hotel openings in Dubai have been as talked about as 25hours Hotel Dubai One Central – the playful brand lauded in its home country of Germany for its cheeky slogans, trendy bars and general dynamic and creative vibe. As the first of its kind outside of Europe, 25hours Dubai brings the same Euro-cool vibe to the Middle East. There’s an iteration of Berlin and Cologne’s uber-cool Monkey Bar – a rooftop bar with Museum of the Future views, podcast and pottery studio, co-working spaces, quirky and colourful rooms (including the penthouse Hakawati suite with an eight-sleeper bed) and a coffee shop from Nightjar Coffee. The best news? The hotel is pet-friendly, and guests can bring their dog, bird, or other small pets (sadly not cats) for no extra charge.

Banan Beach is not technically a hotel (it’s a chic glamping spot on the beach), but it’s one of the most popular places to stay when visiting Ras Al Khaimah. The resort is one of the emirate’s best-kept secrets, attracting well-heeled Dubai residents looking for a stylish glamping experience while embracing the rustic vibe. The beachy boho campsite transports guests to the Greek islands with its blue-tiled pool area, white loungers, white-washed tents and lofts and luxurious blue and white chalets. Treat yourself to one of 12 lofts or 10 chalets for a hotel experience. Quaint, air-conditioned triangle-roof lofts have a private bathroom, one queen and one double bed, comfortably sleeping four adults, and a cosy private courtyard with a jacuzzi and barbecue area. Three-bedroom, three-bathroom chalets are the most premium and reminiscent of a Cycladic guest house, with a blue and white tiled courtyard, a charming blue door, bougainvillaea, private pool, swing and bar. The main camp has a swimming pool, barbecue restaurant and bar.

Much like its trendy Dubai counterpart, W Abu Dhabi is one of the capital’s most luxurious pet-friendly hotels. Located on the vibrant Yas Island, the hotel is best known for being, quite literally, at the heart of the Yas Marina Circuit and Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, but when it’s not hosting top sportspeople and celebs, it’s offering guests an elevated, hedonistic experience. There are 499 rooms and suites to choose from with marina or circuit views and the hotel features seven restaurants and bars, the famous W FIT spa and WET Deck and lots of outdoor space. The hotel is completely pet-friendly and trained pets are welcomed for free. There are even treats, toys and pet welcome amenities on offer, plus a PAW menu.
