With summer in full swing in Dubai, the much-loved Royal Family – like most of Dubai’s residents – are seeking respite in cooler climes. The rule of Dubai HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and his son Crown Prince Hamdan bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, along with their families and friends, are keen travellers, often jet-setting off to destinations like Courchevel ski resort, Maldives, California’s Yosemite National Park and Tanzania.
A favourite holiday spot with the Dubai Royal Family is the UK, with Sheikh Mohammed reportedly owning a handful of properties there, including a Surrey estate, a historic Suffolk mansion and Highland retreat. Among their favourite locations in the UK is Yorkshire, the northern county known for its wild moors, historic towns and thriving cities.
Giving fans insight into the Dubai Royal Family’s summertime, Crown Prince Hamadan – affectionately known by his nickname Faz – shared a series of heartwarming photographs and a video of the family’s summer holiday.
Posting on his personal Instagram account to his 16 million followers, Faz shared a series of black and white photographs, showing family members enjoying typical countryside pursuits. The charming photographs show the group together in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside, wearing traditional countryside attire, and other more intimate snaps – such as photographs of Faz’s close family and friends, alongside their dogs
Family members in the photograph include Uncle Saeed, one of Faz’s most loyal travel companions and a fellow adventure and adrenaline seeker, and a special advisor to the family, Ismaeil Alhashmi.
But the most heartwarming of all the snaps is a video showing the Crown Prince cycling through the blossoming moors with his two young twins in tow. The prince can be seen pushing the little prince and princess in their pram-on-wheels – with the young royals adorably dressed in little bobble hats.
The Dubai Royal Family often travels to Yorkshire, with Faz having posted many snaps from the bucolic destination over the years. Previous photographs have shown the ruler of Dubai in the group, looking happy, relaxed and enjoying the county air with his family.
