Travelling to and from Saudi Arabia is easier than ever, with renewed vigour to explore the world for residents and an e-visa for tourists. Along with the country’s national carrier, Saudia, and other leading airlines, Saudi Arabia has a fantastic budget airline connecting it with the world: Flynas. The airline was founded in 2007 as the country’s first-ever budget carrier and now flies to the Middle East and Northern Africa, Europe and Asia, offering cheap flights from Saudi Arabia out of its HQ of Riyadh. In the past year alone, the airline launched flights to 16 new destinations and 30 new routes, along with increasing its fleet size to 43 aircrafts – spanning 13 Airbus A320s, 28 A320neos and two A330-300s.
The affordable airline has now announced is is launching non-stop direct flights from Riyadh to Yerevan, the exciting capital of Armenia, in June. Travellers can experience rich history and culture, hospitality and cuisine, and beautiful scenery, from the mountains to the wide, tree-lined boulevards.
In January 2023, the airline announced it will launch flights from Riyadh to the Montenegrin coastal town of Tivat, the second flight route to the European country. From June 2023, the carrier has operated thrice-weekly services from Dammam to Istanbul Sabiha Gokcen (SAW), followed by a twice-weekly service to Turkey’s Trabzon launching on 22 June – marking the airlines’ first direct flights from the Kingdom to Turkey. Damman will also receive a new route connecting it with Oman’s Salalah from 29 June, which will operate twice a week until 30 September, covering the popular Khareef season. Flights from Jeddah to the Turkish Riviera hotspot of Bodrum will also run from 1 July to 21 August, along with a thrice-weekly route to Salalah from 1 June, offering more cheap flights from Saudi Arabia than ever before.
