But while brunches are a right of passage and a popular Dubai pastime, the general excess of day feasting and frivolity isn’t everyone’s cup of tea. Here are eight all-you-can-eat offerings in Dubai that aren’t the classic experience, from elegant all-you-can-eat sushi and cocktail evenings to market-style feasts.

Sushi Matsuri night is a weekly sensation at Gohan – the intimate Japanese restaurant-cum-speakeasy hidden behind a secret door at chic French hotspot, La Cantine Du Faubourg. Taking place every Tuesday night from 7pm to midnight, the cosy hideaway invites you to indulge in an ‘Elegant Street Food’ experience, featuring one miso soup and one chirashi bowl per person, along with unlimited nigiri and maki. In recent years, The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina‘s Mina’s Kitchen has become known as the dining destination for some of the most lavish feasts in the city – once primarily known (and still known) for its iconic Bubbalcious brunch. Entering into a new era of all-you-can-eat dining, the grand bazaar experience has launched Mina’s Wharf at Mina’s Kitchen, a weekly seafood extravaganza that pays homage to the Great British seaside.
