The Road to The Giorgio Armani Tennis Classic is an exclusive doubles invitational that will unfold as a series of tournaments at four renowned Four Seasons properties, with an appearance from tennis superstars…
There are few things more stylish, or iconic, than a tennis court set against a naturally stunning backdrop. Or, better yet, a luxury hotel. The burnt orange of the European clay courts, the freshly cut pastel green of England’s lawns, or the sun-baked hard courts of the Caribbean. The sport blends elegance and athleticism, and, recognising how enjoyable the sport can be in such stunning settings – and just how stunning its own tennis courts are – Four Seasons has unveiled The Road to The Giorgio Armani Tennis Classic.
The exclusive doubles invitational will unfold as a series of tournaments at four renowned Four Seasons properties, offering celebrated luxury, heritage and world-class hospitality. A first-of-its-kind, the collaboration will feature an iconic tennis champion coach at each Four Seasons host property. The event itself brings together an impressive lineup of tennis greats, with the tournaments offering participating players the rare opportunity to learn from legends of the game in some of the world’s most stunning settings. The new programme plays into travellers’ shifting demands for luxury, with guests honouring experiences and opportunities over physical objects – allowing the Canadian hotel brand to stand out in a world of five-star properties, where everyone is promising ‘luxury experiences’.
The Road to The Giorgio Armani Tennis Classic runs from 14 to 16 March at The Ocean Club, A Four Seasons Resort, Bahamas, where 22-time singles title holder Juan Martín del Potro will lead players on a signature Har-Tru court. The beachfront property has 14 hectares (35 acres) of Versailles-inspired gardens, and the natural beauty of Paradise Island with its eight-kilometre (five-mile) white sand beach creates an oasis of refined Caribbean luxury.
Next, it’s the turn of Four Seasons Resort Palm Beach, Florida (April 11-13), under the guidance of 7-time Grand Slam champion Venus Williams. Players will refine their skills at this serene palm-fringed haven, the Island’s only Five-Diamond, Five-Star Palm Beach resort set against the backdrop of Palm Beach’s coastline. ‘Tennis, travel, and fashion have shaped so much of my life, and this partnership with Four Seasons brings them all together in such a special way,’ says Williams herself. ‘I can’t wait to welcome players here in Palm Beach to share my love for the game.’
Perfectly times for the clay court season, and getting guests in the mood for the upcoming French Open, Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat, A Four Seasons Hotel will host from 2 to 4 May. 18-time singles title holder Jo-Wilfried Tsonga will welcome players to the famed clay courts at this Riviera icon, set against with panoramic sea views and Mediterranean glamour. At the hotel itself, guests can expect exquisite French cuisine and timeless grandeur. ‘I look forward to hosting tennis fans from around the world for this tournament co-sponsored by Four Seasons and Giorgio Armani on the beautiful Riviera, says Tsonga. ‘Sharing my passion for the game right here in my beloved France makes this extra special for me.’
The final leg takes place at Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire, England (6-8 June), where Wimbledon champion Goran Ivanišević will host the event in the heart of the English countryside. The sprawling 200-hectare (500-acre) country escape is home to this 18th-century manor estate set among rolling hills.
Semi-finals and final matches will be held at London’s storied Hurlingham Club during The Giorgio Armani Tennis Classic from June 26 – 28, 2025.
